The Tax Justice Network (TJN) is an independent international network launched in 2003. Its core mission is to "change the weather" on a wide range of issues related to tax, tax havens and financial globalisation, and push for systemic change. TJN has developed the Financial Secrecy Index, which ranks jurisdictions according to their secrecy and the scale of their offshore financial activities, as well as the Corporate Tax Haven Index, which ranks the world’s most important tax havens for multinational corporations, according to how aggressively and how extensively each jurisdiction contributes to helping the world’s multinational enterprises escape paying tax.
